Emma and I have just returned from a fabulous holiday on the Greek island of Santorini. Santorini is basically a volcanic crater with beautiful houses clinging to the side of the cliffs, and there's much speculation that the island (Thera, as it used to be called in ancient days) was actually the site of Atlantis. It plays that part in one of the Tomb Raider films, I believe!
It's also a beautiful place, warm and sunny with hardly a cloud in the sky. From a photographer's point of view it's stunning - the white painted walls against the blue of the sky makes for a fabulous contrast.
Although I (clearly!) enjoy taking photographs of people, I'm also very interested in finding amazing locations in which to place those people, and Santorini wasn't short of those. I'll be adding a blog post and a new gallery covering the shoot we did at the hotel.
